...File Requirements

These file requirements should be followed when submitting files to SignArt. When submitting files you have the option of emailing us, supplying it on disk or uploading to our FTP. FTP access will be given upon request, if you would like to use the FTP option please contact us for access.

This page is printer compatable.

Compatible Programs:

Photoshop 6, Illustrator 9.0 , Quark 4.1, Corel Draw 8

Removable Media:

Jaz disk 1gb/2gb, CD , DVD, Zip disks 100mb or floppy

Platform:

Mac or PC

Photoshop Files & Scans:

When you are creating or scanning files you have to make sure that the final size is at least 100dpi. Now to give you an example. If you need a poster that is going to end up being 20" X 10" and the original size is 10" X 5", you would have to scan the original either at 200% @ 100dpi or 100% @ 200dpi or higher. It never hurts to make a file's dpi size higher than 100dpi. You should create your file accordly to the speed and memory of your computer.

Illustrator Files:

When working in Illustrator, remember to always include the fonts. Even if we most likely will have it , it is safer for you to include it when you send the file to avoid any trouble. DO NOT save the file in anything later than version 9.

Quark Xpress Files:

Check all scans used in document to make sure that the images are the correct dpi(See Photoshop section above). You must, when submitting quark documents include all supporting fonts, images and docs.

Please do not forget to supply all supporting documents when submitting files!
